Time, Tech, and the Digital Priesthood

SPECIAL GUEST:
JOHN HALL

Former NY Congressman; Musician, songwriter, founder of Orleans, and author of
STILL THE ONE: A Rock’n’Roll Journey to Congress and Back

LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK
The CDO Summit is the premier event for
digital & data leaders:

May 30, 2018  | NYC, UNITED STATES
June 27, 2018  | San Francisco, UNITED STATES

A select few will interpret big changes to the masses.

Whether warning future humans about nuclear waste, synthesisizing time capsules to bury or launch into space, or explaining new tech, a highly specialized cadre of people will show the opportunities and dangers of new tech.

These clergy of technology will know what came before, and where things are going. Things are moving so rapidly that its hard to keep up, and a reverse process must be ready for those times when events force us back to older tech.

John Hall will speak of this and more during his featured presentation titled “Time, Tech, and the Digital Priesthood“, at the NYC CDO Summit on May 30.

John’s memoir, STILL THE ONE: A ROCK’n’ROLL JOURNEY TO CONGRESS AND BACK tells the story about the man best known as the founder of the band Orleans, with hits including “Still The One” and “Dance With Me.”

John co-wrote Janis Joplin’s “Half Moon,” Steve Wariner’s #1 country hit “You Can Dream of Me,” and also “Power,” which became the theme of the NO NUKES concerts in the 1970s. John has collaborated in the studio or on the stage with Little Feat, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash, Chet Atkins, and Carly Simon, among others.

His environmental concerns led him into community activism, which also got him on the road into politics, first serving in the Ulster County, New York legislature, then as trustee and president of the Saugerties school board. Hall won a seat in Congress in 2006, and returned to music in 2011 with Orleans.

John’s optimism shines through in stories from his life in the musical and political worlds.

After his presentation, John will perform a couple of acoustic songs. Don’t miss this special presentation!
Register today for the NYC CDO Summit to make sure you reserve your seat to hear from John and the rest of the amazing keynotes and panelists. We have a fantastic agenda planned.

WHY SPONSOR THE CDO CLUB/CDO SUMMIT?
For many vendors, its become increasingly difficult to keep track of who is in charge at their client’s organizations. Shifting budgets, internal battles over head-count, new decision-makers in the C-Suite. Almost every sector has been affected.

Seasoned leaders with experience in digital transformation and data-driven culture are increasingly getting the keys to the kingdom, reporting to the CEO and the Board.

We’ve been tracking this shift since 2011, when there were only a few hundred CDOs on earth. Now, thousands of people hold those titles.
