Blockchain, Cryptos, and Quantum
Over Lunch at the NYC CDO Summit!
LEARN – SHARE – NETWORK The CDO Summit is the premier event for
digital & data leaders: May 30, 2018 | NYC, UNITED STATES June 27, 2018 | San Francisco, UNITED STATES
Don’t miss our NYC CDO Summit on May 30. Even if you just sneak over to the event for lunch, you are in for a real treat! We have three fascinating luncheon speakers who you not only want to hear from, but you will want to meet.
Ananya Chadha is a 16 year-old blockchain developer from Toronto who will be speaking on “The Future of Blockchain – Intersections With Other Exponential Technologies.” Ananya will discuss how, at just 15 years old, she developed two cryptocurrencies and crowdsale (ICO) smart contracts with the ERC20 tokens framework set by Ethereum. She recently won the Cryptochicks Hackathon, for her project that put genomic data on the blockchain. Ananya is the youngest Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) developer in the world. She recently developed a BCI that uses brain waves to turn on and off music with the user’s thoughts, and drove a remote control car using her brain. She is now sponsored by Microsoft for BCI development.
Following Ananya is Jessica Pointing, who will speak on “The World of Quantum.” Because atoms and subatomic particles behave in strange and complex ways, classical physics can not explain their quantum behavior. However, when the behavior is harnessed effectively, systems become far more powerful than classical computers… quantum powerful. Jessica is a quantum computing researcher at Harvard College pursuing a double major in Physics and Computer Science. She completed two full internships as a software engineering intern at Google, and a consulting intern at McKinsey. She was previously an investment banking intern at Goldman Sachs and a quant intern at Morgan Stanley. Jessica has won the McKinsey Women’s Impact Award, MIT Award for Distinguished Achievement in Leadership, and is also a Google Anita Borg Scholar, Microsoft Scholar, Palantir Scholar, Adobe Research Scholar, Morgan Stanley Scholar, Goldman Sachs Scholar, Society of Women Engineers Scholar, and Society of Geophysicists Scholar.
Finally, we are reprising the most popular keynote at our recent London CDO Summit, just for you! We’re excited to have Richard Kramer, Founder & Managing Director at Arete Research to discuss “Are Digital Advertising Markets Rigged?” The leading Internet players have managed to control both the supply and demand side of the digital ad market in a way that would be unimaginable in financial markets. Several developments – blockchain based solutions, new entrants into digital ad space like Amazon, and greater regulatory scrutiny – offer the chance for publishers and brands to get more diversity and competition among those competing for their audience and ad budgets. Richard, based in London, is the founder of Arete, focusing on smartphones, digital consumer products, advertising technology and other internet services. He is known for his frank dissection of industry hype and willingness to offer critical as well as positive comments on leading tech companies. Prior to founding Arete, Richard was for four years #1 ranked technology analyst in Europe at Goldman Sachs, and prior to that, worked for Nortel, and at a prestigious Columbia University economics think tank.

WHY SPONSOR THE CDO CLUB/CDO SUMMIT?
For many vendors, its become increasingly difficult to keep track of who is in charge at their client’s organizations. Shifting budgets, internal battles over head-count, new decision-makers in the C-Suite. Almost every sector has been affected.
Seasoned leaders with experience in digital transformation and data-driven culture are increasingly getting the keys to the kingdom, reporting to the CEO and the Board.
We’ve been tracking this shift since 2011, when there were only a few hundred CDOs on earth. Now, thousands of people hold those titles.
We can help get your message to these highly coveted, C-level digital and data decision-makers. We provide our partners with unparalleled access to the world’s top data, analytics, and digital executives, and enable you to learn more about their projects, needs, timelines, and budgets.
If you provide solutions that add value to enterprise CDOs and CAOs, you should join us this year.
